This group is open to designers, architects, engineers, enthusiasts and the like that use Google's SketchUp modeling software. Our goal is to build a large community where members can serve as support to each other and where we can periodically discuss best practices, tips & tricks, plug-ins & plug-in creation; as well as do local workshops, showcase users and highlight case studies.

The goal of this group is to help each other learn about 3d printing and modeling.  We will be printing on my Makerbot Replicator 2 and modeling using any software (I use Google Sketchup).  Beginners to experts are welcomed. There is no fee for the group, but if you would like to print something there will a small fee to cover electric and materials cost.  I only have my laptop, so it's recommended you bring your own computer.  Looking forward to meeting everyone!
